Computer Hardware & Surveillance Product Testing & Repair Technician
About Us
UR Distree Pvt. Ltd. is a CCTV camera and surveillance equipment manufacturer. We are looking for a technician skilled in computer hardware and surveillance product testing and repair to join our Quality and Service team at our Badarpur, Delhi facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and inspect computer hardware components and surveillance products such as CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs and power adapters for functionality and quality.
- Identify and troubleshoot hardware faults, connectivity issues and product malfunctions.
- Repair or replace faulty components and parts in cameras, DVRs, NVRs and related accessories.
- Configure and test surveillance devices for basic settings before dispatch or after repair.
- Maintain accurate records of testing results, defects found and repairs carried out.
- Assist in packing and quality checks of finished goods before shipment.
- Coordinate with the Production and QC teams to identify and reduce recurring product issues.
- Perform basic hardware diagnostics and functional testing as required.
- Ensure products meet required quality and functionality standards before dispatch.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Computer Hardware, Electronics or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience may also be considered.
- 1–3 years of experience in computer hardware or CCTV/surveillance product testing and repair.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware assembly, cabling and connectors.
- Familiarity with CCTV, DVR and NVR systems is an advantage.
- Ability to use basic testing tools such as multimeter, power supply and test monitors.
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge of electronic and computer hardware components.
- Good attention to detail and a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to identify product defects and perform basic repairs.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
