About Us
UR Distree Pvt. Ltd. is a CCTV camera and surveillance equipment manufacturer. We are looking for a skilled Hydraulic Bending Press Operator to join our sheet metal fabrication team at our Badarpur, Delhi facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate hydraulic bending and press brake machines to form sheet metal components as per engineering drawings and job specifications.
- Set up and adjust bending tools, dies and back gauges according to different job requirements.
- Read and understand engineering drawings to determine correct bend angles, sequence and dimensions.
- Inspect bent components for accuracy using measuring instruments such as angle gauges and vernier calipers.
- Identify and report defects such as cracks, incorrect angles, dimensional deviations and improper bends.
- Maintain accurate production records and coordinate with the shift supervisor regarding production targets.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication and basic maintenance.
- Ensure proper handling of sheet metal and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating hydraulic press brake and bending machinery.
Requirements
- ITI or equivalent trade training preferred; experienced on-the-job trained candidates may also be considered.
- 2–5 years of experience operating hydraulic press brake or bending machines.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and basic GD&T.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as vernier caliper and angle gauge.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a machine-based production environment.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain dimensional accuracy.
- Punctual, safety-conscious and able to work effectively as part of a team.
