PCBA Repairing Engineer
About Us
UR Distree Pvt. Ltd. is a CCTV camera and surveillance equipment manufacturer. We are looking for a skilled PCBA Repairing Engineer with strong soldering and troubleshooting abilities to join our Production and Quality team at our Badarpur, Delhi facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faulty PCBAs including camera boards, DVR/NVR boards and power modules using appropriate testing equipment and schematics.
- Perform component-level soldering and desoldering of SMD and through-hole components with precision using soldering iron and hot-air rework stations.
- Identify the root causes of failures such as dry solder joints, short circuits, burnt components and damaged tracks.
- Test repaired boards using multimeters, DC power supplies and functional test jigs before dispatch.
- Perform component replacement and ensure proper soldering and board functionality.
- Maintain repair records, failure analysis logs and component replacement history.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to reduce recurring defects and improve repair processes.
- Handle ESD-sensitive components following proper safety and handling procedures.
- Follow standard repair, testing and quality control procedures.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in PCB/PCBA repair, preferably in CCTV, DVR, NVR or consumer electronics.
- Strong hands-on skills in soldering iron and SMD rework for fine-pitch components.
- Ability to read and understand basic electronic circuits and schematics.
- Good experience with multimeters and functional testing equipment.
- Good eyesight and precision for fine component-level work.
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge of power supply and video board-level circuits preferred.
- Good problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
- Knowledge of ESD safety and proper handling of electronic components.
